New youth center in Lecco
For the new San Luigi Oratory project in Lecco, large, transparent window systems were installed, designed to maximize natural light and connect the interior spaces with the surrounding landscape—spanning from the mountains to the lake. Thermally broken aluminum profiles ensure high insulation performance, while selective glazing helps maintain a stable indoor temperature by minimizing heat loss and preventing overheating during the summer.
The “historic volumes” on the roof were designed to evoke the original aesthetic of the former Faini industrial site while simultaneously offering expansive panoramic views of the outdoors.
